 Exercise

1 Copyright law

copy right is when the law of a country gives the creator of an original piece of work whether it’s a game or song exclusive rights for its use and distribution this is usually for a set period of time and even while under copyright laws there is fair use. Fair use is when copyrighted material can be used with very strict limits copy right is not absolute but no one can take your work and pass it of as their own. Copy right was created on January 1st 1978. Copyright usually lasts from when the moment the piece of work is created until 70 years after the author’s death. If someone was to create a game this would protect their design for characters and levels and the main plot for the game.
